12:15 Equator Crossing Ceremony: King Neptune and His Royal Court summon you to appear before His Majesty.
All aboard Silver Dawn must seek King Neptune’s blessing and permission as we cross the equator from the oceans of the north into the south.

2:00 Enrichment Lecture with Dr Bill Timmins: Too Close for Comfort!

We look back at some well-known and less well-known near misses that could have ended very differently. Beginning with the 1962 Cuban missile crisis to the Palomares Accident involving aircraft with thermonuclear
weapons on board… Scary stuff!

Tonight, we will present her at a concert aboard Silver Dawn. Fu Ning’s exquisite artistry will create an unforgettable musical experience.
