Where in the World Are We?

We enter the Panama Canal from the Caribbean Sea raising up through the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks,
then continuing sailing through Gatun Lake, then lowering through the Gatun locks to the Pacific Ocean.

We enter from the Caribbean going under the Centnnial Bridge
Approaching the Milaflores Locks
Begining point of Milaflores Locks
Two men in a row boat bring the two attachment cables to each ship
Two cables are attached to two “mules” to drag the ship through the locks
The locks have double gates and safety chains
1st of three locks
The gates begin to close behind us/
Once the gates are closed water is pumped in to raise us to the next level
Once we pass through the Pedro Miguel locks we sail through Lake Gatun to the Gatun Locks to lower to the Pacific
