Speaker Series – James Grant Peterkin

Christopher Colombus’ Discovery of the Americas

James Grant Peterkin has lived in Polynesia for over 20 years and has been the Honorary British Consul on Easter Island since 2009.

He is a graduate of Cambridge University, where he specialized in the languages of the Pacific islands, and is a fluent Rapa Nui speaker, one of about half a dozen outsiders to speak the language.

Headline Entertainer – Jeff Nease

Jeff Nease is one of the nation’s leading stand-up comedians.

You may recognize Jeff from his TV appearances on Comedy Central, Showtime, A&E, and PBS as well as a finalist in ‘National Lampoon’s Laugh Off’ and ‘The World Series of Comedy’. Jeff has also opened for Motown legends The Temptations as well as Jim Carrey, Tim Allen, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Jane Krakowski is an actress and singer.

She is best known for her performance as Elaine Vassal on Ally McBeal, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, and for her role as “Jenna Maroney” on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, for which she was been nominated for three Emmy Awards.

She also regularly performs on the stage and won a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway revival of Nine and an Olivier Award for Guys and Dolls in London’s West End.

Tituss Burgess is an American actor and singer.

He has appeared in numerous Broadway musicals and is known for his high-tenor voice.

He is best known for starring as Titus Andromedon on the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2020), for which he has received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Tituss currently stars in the animated musical comedy series Central Park for Apple TV+, for which he was nominated for his sixth Emmy Award.
